Mr. Stewart’s academic and professional experience has exposed him to a variety of planning and urban design challenges. His work at Berkeley focused on the ways in which people constantly create and re-create the urban landscape. He is especially interested in social and environmental dynamics of development in the global South. At CD+A, Alec has worked on pedestrian planning studies, GIS map design, and transit-oriented development planning projects. He has also participated in field studies and contributed to design guideline documents. He looks forward to building his knowledge and continuing his practice of the design and planning process.
