Jessica Look is a planner and urban designer with a background in city planning with a focus on land use planning and streetscape design. Her educational and professional experience emphasizes:

Jessica is particularly interested in multi-modal streetscape planning and local planning with a focus on sustainability. Her work at CD+A has included streetscape design for the San Francisco’s Neighborhood Transportation Plan in West SoMa, development of a context-based street typology for the City of Pasadena, and an urban design/pedestrian safety evaluation for Oakland’s BRT. Jessica also participates in CD+A’s LEED®-ND pilot certification projects. Jessica continually demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of planning and urban design and aims to create innovative plans reflective of the input from the planning process.

Prior to joining CD+A, Jessica was at Asian Neighborhood Design and worked on community-based plans for San Francisco’s Eastern Neighborhoods and affordable housing and community economic development policies. Jessica earned her Master’s in City and Regional Planning with a focus on urban design and land use planning from the University of California Berkeley. She participated in urban design studios both locally and abroad, including China.
